Hrymayliv Shadduck: I was startled for a moment because I never thought I would get put on the spot like this.

What happened to normal adults looking for NORMAL companionship? I don't know about you, but I am so busy with the day to day that I forget to notice people around me at times. And then those rare times I do notice... sadly... it is completely the wrong time to say more than hello because I have the kids with me or I am running from here to there again, or something else that prevents more than a shared glance. I'm not some young college thing like all the other posts I snicker over my morning coffee with on here. I am an ADULT with kids, bills I pay, PTA and other family functions to participate in, other normal non partying adult activities, etc. I love to read, write, travel, listen to music preferably live, dash board drum and sing along to every song I know... dance around the house crazy... yes sometimes even when people are watching, and otherwise act like a dork on many occasion. I dont have a lot of free time, but when I do I enjoy everything from culture obtained at the theater to our local street fairs, Saturdays nights spend at the race track, or just taking my book to the park to read. Im just looking for a normal guy. Not some freak who answers every post that is put on CL hoping for some good times. If all I find is an awesome guy friend to hang out with, cool. If I find something that turns into some lite romance well its long overdue. Its been far too long since Ive had someone other than my kids be polite and open a door for me and have manners as a gentleman. Little say... oh chemistry? Please dont respond if you are asking instantly to meet. Sorry but 99 of the time you would never ask someone you just met some stranger to instantly meet. Why do that now?
